Chris, as he was known to us all, very sadly passed away peacefully after a short illness at the Dunkirk Memorial House on Monday 26th February. He will be well known to many ringers and clergy nationally and was an honorary life member of the Bath and Wells Diocesan Association of Change Ringers, a member of The Ancient Society of College Youths and the Guild of Clerical Ringers. He was 91 years old and was still ringing actively up until last Autumn.
A thanksgiving service for his life within a celebration of Holy Communion will be held at St Michael’s Church, Milverton, Somerset on Saturday 23rd March at Noon.
